Since starting their professional journey in 2022, Tex has shown an incredible knack for turning simple concepts into stunning tattoos. Early on, they trained under our lead artist, Jerry the Squaddie, who helped them build a strong foundation in technique and client care. Jerry’s guidance gave Tex the confidence to develop their own style while mastering the basics of professional tattooing.
Over the past year, Tex has been obsessed with the work of Ben Fisher, Tex studies Fisher’s methods relentlessly, learning how to create designs that are both striking and subtle. More recently, Tex has levelled up their skills through intensive mentorship with two phenomenal artists: Maddox Max and globally celebrated tattooer Brandon Over, along with the team at Tattooing 101. This hands-on coaching has polished Tex’s craft, making them a standout in the minimalist tattoo scene.
